Picked up the chicken tikka platter for takeout before the champions league final this Saturday. Food was packaged well to travel, sauces separated from meat and veggies. Tandoori sauce is awesome, sweet and tangy, perfect amount of spice. Fresh cucumber tomato and onion salad was a nice palate cleanser. Great food, nice portions. I’ll be back.
Best Indian I have had in a long time. Great service and the price was great for the amount of food.
Done with Lemon. I LOVE indian food. It probably kept me married for years after we had nothing else. And then I found Lemon on Broad. I have been to Lemon at least 20 times. But every time I order from them, the food is wrong or late. Tonight it was one more example – they didn’t even bother to give me the entre I ordered. I will not order from here again. Which stinks because I have wanted a good Indian place near me. Oh well.
Best Indian food in greater RVA area. Better than anokha, which I also like. Service was good too, and music not loud.
A joke!. This place is a joke in the name of Indian Cuisine. There might be other dishes which would be average, but don’t ever try any Biryani there. They simply don’t understand the biryani recipe. They think mixing rice with some small pieces of chicken is biryani. what a joke of a place and mind it – Its ways too expensive!
Best Indian food in rva must go!! If u go for lunch they have great deals
I’ve eaten here a few times. Every time has been amazing. A bit out of the way for me, but I keep finding myself back here. The food is amazing, the staff is attentive and fun to joke with and the atmosphere is wonderful. Wish they had a few more locations. The menu I have found is better than other places in town for what I like. So I keep coming back.
