Hugely disappointing. My crab stuffed shrimp was over cooked, allowed to get cold and then shoved on a hot plate. After sending it back, I waited while all my friends finished their meals and then was brought a tasteless version of the same with what I can best describe as a shrill hollandaise sauce. The manager apologized, but there was no reduction in the price. By far the worst $26 meal I’ve ever been served.
Food was good – service was good – WATCH THEM WHEN YOU GET YOUR BILL!! OVERCHARGED FOR WINE !! Doubled the amount
Amazing-Really???. Had brunch there yesterday – what a disappointment. We looked at all the reviews from several sources and made our choice based on those reviews – big mistake. Egss Benedict were hard cooked, Crab Benedict was made with tough, stringy crabmeat – both served on hard as rocks biscuits. Steak and Eggs were drowned in tons of heavy gravy. We were seated by the door that leads out to the patio and were treated every few minutes to blasts of very cold 52 degree air, which means our already luke warm entrees and our legs/feet were even colder. I agree, great view, neat interior and probably a great place to enjoy a drink, but not for food. Will not be back.
Awesome Food, Service & Ambience. I have been fortunate enough to eaten their twice recently and the experience was excellent on both occaisions. The food was well prepared and presented, service was prompt and courteous, and on both occaisions serving staff were able to retrieve menus from the Chef! Definately plan to return next time I’m in Richmond!
Restaurant has a fantastic view of the James and of the city for sunsets at happy hour. Enjoy the drinks and the appetizers; however, we leave after drinks and appetizers often to have dinner somewhere else
They were not busy and it took an hr to get our food. The view is beautiful. Food is overpriced
