Nice but not stellar. Had the ribeye special which was mostly since so I could barely eat half, spinach and sweet potatohaswasgood and very different, my travel companion had blackened Wahoo, which she enjoyed. Started out with nachos which were just ok, probably won’t go back.
Great place – comfortable atmosphere and our server (Trevor) made the whole experience. The BBQ was tender, the sides were awesome and the beer selection was great! We will definitely be back.
Makes me stiff in the shorts after stuffing a sandwich down my pie hole (pork). Enjoyed the hot meat in my mouth with Hank’s ‘special sauce’ on it to really set it off – truly a great experience that I’ll look forward to anytime I’m passing through the county! And do you drink beer? This place fully supports the amazing beer options emerging from the region, including Devil’ Backbone, Blue Mt., and 3 Brothers breweries with on tap selection. If I lived closer, you wouldn’t be able to tear me off a bar stool without a pile of hot meat in my mouth and a glass of great beer to wash it down with! Great place worth a shot (and keep in mind, with meat this succulent, they’ll be busy at times for sure!). Try a pile of Hank’s meat in your mouth, you’ll be glad you did!
Wait time far exceeded 15 mins were were told. Food was poor quality and bland. I would NOT return
Not great, but sauces inside there definitely better than down the road at log cabin. The best would be to combine the tenderness and freshness of the ribs from down the road with sauces of hanks barbecue and the prices should meet in the middle. There are the better values a log cabin for lunch however if you’re wanting a fancy dinner I think it’s worth the price of hanks two different flavors two different settings two diff flavors. Bottom line: log cabin for lunch/informal dinning and hanks for dinner/formal dining. Hanks tastes better, but ure gonna have to pay.
