Food was just average. Side dishes were dry and seemed to have been sitting for a while. Nothing was very hot. Our wait person was friendly, but way overtaxed. He didnt have time to check on us after he served our food.
The food was mediocre, the waitress was fine, but the manager was beyond rude. Our group, all adults, were handed our check at the end of the meal and asked to leave by the manager because he needed our table for a party of 17 that was waiting. They hadn’t even cleared the plates yet and they told us to leave! At our incredulous looks, the fellow told us he could re-seat us in the bar if we wanted to stay. We left. We won’t be back.
The barbecue was very good. I tried the beef brisket and pulled pork. They have four different barbecue sauces to choose from. I’m a fan of Carolina based vinegar sauce, their version of this was way too sweet. The portions are excellent! Sunday night is all-you-can-eat barbecue night. For me being heavy eater the fact that I only got one plate says a lot for their portions. The service was excellent our and server was very attentive to our needs. She also was very attentive to all the other tables around us, as we observed. I would say their week link is their barbecue sauces. The price is very reasonable for what style of restaurant this is.
