Amazing food and amazing service!!!. It was our last night in VA (staying in Rosslyn) while visiting Washington DC and we were looking for a good dinner. It ended up being a fantastic dinner! The service was amazing. The drinks were great. My daughter wanted chocolate milk… they whipped it up from scratch and it was so good she couldn’t stop drinking it. My son wanted spaghetti and even though it was not on the menu they made him some of the best fresh pasta and red sauce he has ever had (we had to order him a second plate). My wife had an incredibly delicious blackened Tilapia and I had an absolutely superbly prepared steak. Whether you live in the area or are just visiting, I think this place is a ‘must visit’. Go there! If I’m back in the area I’ll be back at this restaurant for sure!
Don’t judge a book…. I admit I was one of those Orange Line people who always ignored this bistro in lieu of Rays or Pho 75, but finally tried it the other day. The menu is laid out strangely and kind of confusing, with apps and small plates found on every page. But don’t let that throw you, the staff are very helpful and eager to explain and we liked everything we got. Shrimp bisque, goat cheese salad, crab cake, and chicken piccata. Table bread nice and fresh and toasty. And, small thing, but all the actual plates and dishes are very artsy and unique. Makes the food look even better. Will definitely be back.
DC’s finest!. A hidden gem in an old strip mall…but don’t let that deter you. Once inside you’ll find the cozy artistic atmosphere created by the owner’s hand, and a menu that you’ll need your first glass of wine to get through. Amazing variety, changing daily, fresh meats and fish, local veggies, and a chef who can create amazing sauces that honor their European roots while fusing with his Central American influence. The wine list is top notch, staff highly attentive, and decor cozy and romantic. Call ahead for one of the corner windows, unless of course, I’ve already reserved one!
Great food and service!. We had an amazing dinner here last night! The food, atmosphere and service all made the evening. I reccomend the seafood!
Excellent food and service. We had a large party of 14, which included 3 children. We sampled a variety of items from the menu and all of the items were excellent. The service was outstanding. A very enjoyable experience.
Best scallops linguini ever. Friendly staff. Clean and fresh. Great for romantic dinners but not too much for family with young kids because of the large display at the bar. Highly recommend it.
Still excellent after all these years. I was here for an extended stay in 2004 and found this local place. All six of us ordered different dinners and all of us were extremely pleased. Salads, entrees, dessert, wine, service, amazing!
