Great place for crabs or seafood period while in Arlington/Crystal City area! Nice, better than average crab house! Been here several times now and never a problem! Don’t come here if your looking for fine dining! This is a local style hangout joint!

This place is a crab lover’s paradise. It is not elegant and has no frills but is just awesome seafood in a relaxed environment. Fresh cooked crab is brought to your table and dumped directly on the table which is covered with paper. Plan on spending a few hours here for a very worthwhile evening.

Great crab place nestled in a neighborhood! All you can eat smalls for $50 each. Other offerings are abundant. Plenty of TV’s to watch the game. Cozy bar. I love this place. Our server was Tim. Ask for his tables as he is very attentive with a great send of humor…and just got engaged! Congratulations Tim!

Ick. Ended up here really hungry without many other options. Left thinking McDonalds would have been a better option. Outdoor seating consists of plastic lawn furniture on asphalt in direct sunlight. Very little indoor seating, so this was our only option. Very uncomfortable (sweltering) and also the tables are very crammed in together making it worse.Food was overpriced and very short on flavor. We got an oyster po boy and a crab cake sandwhich. Both came with fries. Both sandwiches were dwarfed by the white bread hamburger bun on which they were served (the menu says brioche roll – nope, white bread hamburger bun, probably from GFS). The small amount of meat was lacking flavor. The oyster po boy was a few small oyster pieces breaded and fried without a trace of seasoning or flavor. The tomato on the sandwhich was about the only thing I could taste. And the fries were nothing special and doused in Old Bay. The crab cake was much the same – just cooked crab meat shaped into a patty and nestled into the oversized bun. Each meal was about $13. Definitely not worth it.

Love love love the crab cakes! I’m from New Orleans and grew up with great seafood dishes. These lump crab cakes have very little breading and just the right amount of seasoning. I love that it’s a rustic, casual, unfroofroo place where you can whack mallets on crabs to your heart’s content. I didn’t get to try the boiled crabs but hope to get the chance.

Absolutely Fantastic!. WOW! We just got back from dinner at Quarterdeck while visiting DC from Australia. My wife and I loved everything about this place – the food was so tasty, the staff were very friendly and helpful (Katie and Mike were great) and the attached sports bar was a great environment. We were given a tutorial on how to eat these crabs too, which made all the difference! Also, get a shot of Tequila and ask for Mike’s tomato-chilli chaser. We will definitely be sharing this experience with everyone we know if they visit the area.

Horrible experienceWent last night with friends and the service was awful, food was overpriced, and a 20% mandatory gratuity was assessed even though it wasn’t indicated anywhere. It seemed to give the wait staff the ability to treat the patrons poorly without worry of any repercussions. I felt like I was completely taken advantage of after spending $250.
