Great food! I love the stuffed chicken medallions, but the real showstopper was the dip sampler. The avocado cream is so good. We were there during ha…

Just awful. Yet another reminder why we don't eat at chair restaurants anymore. As my husband put it, the food was barely one step up from Taco Bell. …

Consistently delectable food. It strikes me as odd that those who say it's not 'authentic' have likely never eaten real Mexican food (sorry, but Tex-M…

Went back, this time later in the dinner hour, ordered the same thing – fajitas for two – and it was not as good. Service was slow, food took 30 minutes to come out even though there were few tables. Nothing is worse than craving something you’ve had before & it not being as good the second time around. Disappointed with this restaurant’s inconsistency. Will not return.14 Oct, 2012Had a very enjoyable dinner. The fajitas for two with bacon wrapped shrimp, pork, & tilapia were delicious! Our waitress was great and the restaurant does a great job catering to those with a gluten allergy. Will return again!
Pat and Joel do an amazing job of making sure you are satisfied in your service. Joel makes the best Mojito in the Roanoke area, easily.
Love it. We always get the same thing, the 4 plate enchalada with two spinach and 2 cheese with lime rice and black beans. (the refried are made with lard, which is usual,so we dont get them) they always taste fresh and are piping hot. We have been there at least a dozen times and only had 2 lackluster waitresses. The prices are fine (for the two of us getting water, it is around $16) and the other prices arent high. when we take our two girls they love it. the decor is nice, and the rest of the staff is friendly. We look forward to it when we are in roanoke.
Not so good. This place is just okay. The food while okay is nothing to write home about and you can certainly get better Mexican food for a cheaper price elsewhere. The sevice has been pretty good the few times I have been there and the Margaritas are pretty good too.
Pricey. I don’t like to pay 50% more for food I could have had at El Rodeo.
Just didn’t get it. Oh good grief…..just not good. Waitress was very nice and attentive….prob just not our flavor for Mexican style cuisine. Is it Tex Mex, or Authentic, or what? We just didn’t get it. Great Happy Hour specials which we took advantage for a round of margs. But meals just did not live up to expectations. Perhaps we are used to El Rodeo, Alejandors, and others in the area.
The food, environment, and service were exactly what a restaurant should be like. My dinner was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The price is high, but the food is definitely worth it.
