I looked for a while for some good Chinese food in the East end. Though East villa doesn’t show much from the outside, it’s worth getting in and making your order. They do the traditional take out classics better than most. Grab some to go and enjoy it on Libby Hill overlooking the river and downtown, or head down to the canal walk and enjoy it there. They also have a few tables for dining in. The Sesame Chicken is quite good.

Great food!. You wouldn’t expect it to see it from the outside; but the food is excellent with large portions, the place is clean, and the staff are nice.

Horrible food. Rude woman taking orders. Tried to tell me that the crispy wontons that usually come wih soup are the noodles that always come in chicken chow mein. Gross.
