I visited this place last week with a couple friends around 630 pm, after passing it nearly every day on my way to work. Its not a bad place . The atmosphere is similar to a pub. I ordered a bacon cheddar cheese burger with fries, and it was pretty good, along with an IPA beer. Would I come back? Maybe.

What a joke. avoid. This place could easily be a gold mine. decent food but the atmosphere and people are enough to drive you away. i thought this place was going for the country vibe yet every time i am in there they choose to pump bass. guess they don’t want customers. service and atmosphere just pitiful. mcdonalds is on broad.
Stay away. Smoke and mirrors. this place is an ode to watching a business fail. open when you want. close when you want. hire employees who are nasty. cater to a crowd that only drives your business further in the dumps. go to poe’s pub down the street. you won’t be disappointed.
GREAT!. This is my go-to place in Shockoe Bottom. John’s burgers are among the best I’ve ever had. Try their black and blue, mushroom swiss and chili burger. Their onion rings are great and the seasoning on the fries is awesome. I highly recommend.
