The Menu is a Lie!. I went to Richmond for a concert at The National. Unfortunately, it was one of my favorite bands who didn’t do a great job at all. Very sad. I really liked being able to seat myself at the diner. It was me, my best friend, and my boyfriend. Free refills for soda, thank goodness. It was so hot outside! Very fast service, and I loved sitting upstairs and watching tv and listening to music. Good conversation. Hot fries, very well seasoned and my Hawaiian burger was amazing! The monte cristo and pesto chicken sandwich is great too. We all three decided to share a bit of our food with everyone. Great idea! When it came to dessert, our waitress said nearly everything on the menu was not actually available. No carrot cake, cheesecake, apple pie, etc. It was a bit of a turn off, my my vanilla shake was delicious. Next time I go up there, I gotta have another meal here.
15 minutes for eggs Really?. Decent food but way way to slow for a dinner…shess i mean come on 15 minutes for eggs is just wrong
Loved the atmosphere. Had food at the dinner today for breakfast. Ordered Lorraine’s Omelet with grits and an english muffin and coffee and was pretty good. However, I should have tried the pancakes, they looked much more appetizing as my meal was slightly bland. I’d recommend eating here though for sure for the large menu and great loft type feel. It’s also right next door to the Farmer’s Market!
Worst Dinner in Richmond. Got there early, but was served last. Several groups came later and were seated after me, but they all recieved their order before me. Plus the food was bland…
Good times, good times. Ive been here several times usually after shows let out at alleykatz. good diner style food, burgers and shakes. never had any problems with service.
Slow. Went their to eat dinner with my boyfriend late one saturday night around 10:30 – 11 p.m. and we were the only people in the whole restaurant besides the ones who worked their. Our food took an hour to come out and when we got it it was horrible! My salmon was burnt and the side dishes weren’t even good! I will never go back there again.
Everything on the menu is great. The service is fast and friendly. This is my favorite diner in Richmond!
