Lunch. Three of us had lunch there while at a conference at the convention center. We all enjoyed our meal. Attentive, courteous service and great food at a reasonable price.
Fantastic restaurant with thoughtful menu & great atmosphere. So pleased we found Coda which has a carefully selected menu that is inspired by music parings in this chic and hip restaurant. The service was excellent as was the food, wine, and beer section. I can’t believe I was raving about brussel spouts the next day… but I was! I have eaten here twice and Coda did not disappoint. Ate upstairs the first night and downstairs in the cozier lounge/ bar area during my next dinner. Will return here on my next visit to Richmond.
Wonderful food! Wonderful atmosphere! I have been to this restaurant for two dinner meals this weekend on a work conference in Richmond and loved both Experiences. Both the Nashville chicken and the scallops were delicious!
Coda urban del la Costco. We went there on Valentines Day and they had a special Valentine menu consisting of three appetizers, 3 entrees and 3 choices for desert with wine pairings for each choice for $50.00 , not a bad deal . We both chose the filet magnon and the chocolate tort. We were told by the server that the chocolate torte was no longer available and they had substituted a red velvet cake . Our reservation was at 5.30 , we asked the waiter how could they have run out since we were one of the first ones there . The meal was adequate I could not understand why they would only give you a choice between mixed vegetable or mash potatoes and not both . When it came time for the red velvet cake . The waiter sat it down in front of us, we both looked down and looked at each other and said Costco . This looked like the same velvet cake we had recently bought from Costco . We then mentally went back through our food and everything that we had eaten we could have been bought at Costco
You just HAVE to try it!!!. Amazing food! Very unique and inventive! They serve lunch and dinner with different, amazing menus. The restaurant is attached to The National Theater, and very unassuming from the outside. Do not pass it by though! They have only been open for a short time, but I imagine they will be packed out very soon! You have to try the seared foie gras with grilled Krispy Kreme doughnut (that’s right!), topped with a savory truffle ice cream!!! Who comes up with this stuff????? Also, best burger in town, hands down! Cool cocktails and great wine list too.
Wonderful Meal. Had lunch with 3 others a few days ago. Service was superb and the meals were all excellent. The bacon jam was super and the calamari were prepared perfectly. I really liked the Korean BBQ sandwich and truffle fries. The flat breads and burgers were also very good. Nice atmosphere and cool bar downstairs.
Delicious. Everything was great!!! The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. From start to finish everything was great. Worth the trip from Fredericksburg. Can’t wait to go back again.
