The gluten-free food is good, the service is great. We had the pleasure of eating breakfast at Trevi’s last week as part of a large wedding party staying at the Omni Richmond hotel, and the food was very, very good. What really made the place great, however, was the service! Denisha greeted us with a smile and quickly had the restaurant staff move tables together accommodate us with almost no wait. Our server, Rachel, was friendly and upbeat and clearly passionate about food and her hometown. Not only did she explain everything on the buffet in detail, she also listed ingredients in everything and even got the containers of some of the gluten-free items out of the kitchen for me to read the ingredients myself! As a Celiac sufferer, I have to be extremely careful eating out and rarely do so due to the hazards of cross-contamination, but Rachel put me at ease and I enjoyed a wonderful meal with my family without getting sick or worrying that I would. David, the Restaurant Manager, also came by the table and made sure we had everything we needed, and from the moment we walked in the door until we left with a map of Downtown Richmond that Rachel gave us in-hand and a list of local attractions to enjoy we felt very well taken care of. It is rare that I find somewhere I can eat at all, much less recommend, but eating at Trevi’s, where there are delicious Celiac-safe foods and knowledgable staff to wait on gluten-free customers, was one of the highlights of my trip!
Wonderfully good. We stayed at the Omni hotel and Trevi’s is inside the hotel. The breakfast buffet was out of this world. It had everything you would want for breakfast. Eggs, fruit, pancakes, blueberry sausage. toast, breakfast sandwiches, bacon, cereal and gluten-free section. There was even a omelet station where you can custom order your favorite kind of omelet. The service was outstanding!! Romin was our server and he was so kind and went the extra mile to ensure we had a perfect experience. He even gave us water bottles to go! For dinner, we ordered Omni Hotel’s room service from Trevi’s and ordered an incredibly tasty grilled chicken sandwich with homemade, warm potato chips. We also ordered the chopped salad which was very good. A++
