We have been regular patrons of Tokyo Thai for over a year. Usually the food is pretty good. Tonight when we ordered almost $40 in specialty sushi rolls for take-out, we discovered they had made all the rolls with triple+ rice portions! We called in, and the best they would offer us was a $10 gift card. We asked for a reimbursement or a credit since the rolls only tasted like rice but they would not oblige. We will NOT be returning because this service is unacceptable.
Loved it all!!!. Great service and food…will be going back regardless of the 30 min drive. Everything seems so fresh.

Delicious!! Went there last night with my fianc and got the usual – chicken pad thai and general tso chicken. SOOO GOOD! The service is friendly and helpful and the food comes out fast! Prices are worth the portions you get. Love this place! It never disappoints 🙂
Great ambience , very good service , very clean place. I wouldn’t say it’s the best of Thai, Japanese or Chinese but everything was at least slightly better than average. The Penang was good, I eat a lot of Thai so I’ve had better but this was good for here in Hampton roads. The hibachi vegetable was probably my fav here. Sushi was decent but they do leave skin on eel. Spicy tuna was good. Chicken lettuce wrap was better than average. Pork wonton I probably not get again but overall a nice place but a little on the expensive side.
Unexpectedly Elegant. Who would of thought that in Isle of Wight we would have such a gem of a restaurant. The food is assembled with detail. The Sushi is done very well. The service is efficient, friendly, and available without being familar. I like this place. Great date night venue in Isle of Wight!
Good Sushi/Sashimi. The decor here is very clean and nice looking. The food is a bit over priced, but the quality is execlelent. This is not your average Chinese fusion restaurant. It is clean, friendly, and the food is very fresh tasting. The sushi and sashimi are top notch. I especially like the Gyoza, which are pork dumplings. Those are very addictive. This place is also kid friendly. The plus side is good food, nice atmosphere, and it’s clean. The downside is it is a bit pricey and sometimes the food can take a while. Overall this place is very nice and is worth a try especially if you like good quality sushi and sashimi.
