You can easily miss this place but you wont want to! Look for the red and yellow very small restaurant! The service is simply down home and as friendly as it can be! The catfish fingers are light, cornmeal crusted, and the best I have had in years! Don’t miss them! The mac and cheese is banging! Their jambalaya and red beans and rice brings the flavor of New Orleans up north to Fredericksburg. If you are looking for someplace fancy, keep driving. If you are looking for great down-home food, then head straight to JTs!We will be back!Catfish Strips. Light, crispy, cornmeal crusted catfish. It is heavenly!
Hmmm? The food here is ok but other than the catfish (which was very good) there was not much I would go back for, especially at the prices. And the service needs work. The cook was the friendliest and most energetic one on staff. May go back in a few weeks for catfish again before giving it a like or don’t like. I want to like it as it is obviously family owned but they need to up their game to draw in the picky metro eaters.
