This restaurant is waterfront on Lake Anna and has plenty of parking and good for a large party with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was pretty good. They have a large bar and also sell all you can eat steamed blue crabs. I also enjoyed their softshell crab sandwich. Their cornballs are also really good, kinda like a mix between a corn fritter and hush puppy. They also have plenty of dock space in case you want to arrive by boat. I believe this is a small chain with other establishments in the region.
Don’t Bother. Tims is a real disappointment. They are over priced for starters. Their frys taste like seafood and they dont even come with your meal. You have to order them separate. Chicken was like rubber. Nice view on a small portion of the lake but hats about it. Had high hopes for this place but turns out its a big disappointment. Don’t bother eating there. You can make it better and cheaper at home

Great experience. We were fishing nearby and decided to get lunch at Tim’s at Lake Anna. The wife ran up and ordered several crabcake sandwiches for us. Excellent choice. They were by far the best we have had in a very long time. We were so pleased with the food that the same evening we went there for dinner. Again a great experience. Service was great. The waitress [Susan I think] was great. Great food and service. I know where we will be dining on our next visit. Great job to Tim and his staff. I didn’t hear anyone complain while we were there.
Maybe Some Other Day. We arrived at 5:45 and were seated immediately by a smiling employee who held the door for us. The building is a large open area with concrete floors and nothing to deaden the noise a bit, so conversation is difficult.Overall, it was a tragic dining experience. Although our waitress was friendly and energetic, her enthusiasm could not make up for what was to follow. Your first glass of wine is in a real glass (one of which still had lipstick on it from a previous diner). After that it’s in plastic cups. Oysters on the half shell served on a cafeteria tray. No ice, shells still muddy with the mud pushed into the meat when they were shucked. And this is AFTER an interminable wait. Yes, Tim’s got their license to serve. About an hour before we arrived… and they were able to provide warm beer and warm white wines (no liquor). Better to have waited a day so that things could be properly cooled.We left after the appetizers and paid a bill that was incorrect just to be gone. We had come knowing the restaurant was new, so we set the bar of expectation somewhat low. Tim’s was able to limbo right under it with little effort. To their credit, I left this review on their Facebook page and they did not delete it, but acknowledged they had issues to correct. Maybe we’ll stop in again in the fall.
