Miso Soup, Tuna Spoons and Avacado Salad. Tuna spoons are not on the menu but they are very good.
We love Umi. The food, the staff, atmosphere, did I say food, oh yes, all GREAT. Feel like we are going to our private dinner club for a gourmet meal!
Great Sushi, Staff and Atmosphere. I frequently dined at Umi in Fredericksburg because it has great food and service. Unfortunately I don’t get there often because I-95 sucks.I was excited to see the Umi in Stafford while it was still under construction and couldn’t wait until it opened.I was not disappointed. They transformed an old Ruby Tuesdays into a great looking restaurant with a great atmosphere and design. The sushi bar has lots of seating and the ample tables/booths for large groups.The sushi itamae are always engaging and fun. The friend I was with simply described what tastes she wanted to Jasper and he fixed her an amazing entree using her ingredients. The rolls I had were excellent and properly sized so each piece was a single mouthful….perfect.I highly recommend Umi in Stafford (and Fredericksburg) for sushi.
