  Great food, unfortunate location. We were in the area and decided to stop for lunch – my co-worker was surprised that the restaurant was located in the breezeway between CVS and Big Lots given that the store front is invisible except to those who walk past the restaurant and realize that it’s not part of the CVS unit. The restaurant had a few customers when we arrived after the normal lunch rush. We were promptly seated and we reviewed the rather extensive menu. It took us a while to decide on the numerous lunch specials and the wide variety of pupusa options. I opted for a pork & cheese pupusa and chicharrone with yuca while my co-worker opted for the lunch special with 2 pupusas (pork) and a chicken taco. The wait for the food was quite long – we finished the provided chips and salsa in fairly short order but didn’t request more which turned out to be a wise decision. When the food arrived, it was piping hot – freshly made. Both dishes arrived with a bowl of cole slaw – a Central American version with vinegar instead of mayonnaise as most US versions trend. The pupusas were excellent – nicely fried with a good crust. The chicharrone was excellent – fried crisp and very flavorful atop a bed of yuca. The amount of food was deceptively large – the dishes didn’t look to be that filling but once they arrived, they were more than adequate. At $8.99 for the lunch special, the prices are a bit on the high-side but the quality and quantity make it worth the expense. The wait was a bit frustrating but knowing that it is necessary to obtain fresh-cooked food, that’s OK – perhaps the wait staff should alert diners but otherwise, the meal was very enjoyable – we’ll return soon.
