Good solid and fast breakfast; popular place. The french toast looked awesome, but my party went for pancakes (yum) and I had the corned beef, cooked to the proper crispy outside texture. Toast was lightly buttered and also lovely. Scrambled eggs were fluffy. Nice breakfast; three ate for $30
This diner is definitely one of the local favorites. On a weekday morning, it was very busy, almost to the point where it was hard to move around in the restaurant. I tried one of the Mexican breakfasts, chorizo con heuvos, and I thought it was pretty good – a bit of a change from the usual breakfast fare. Service was rather good too, except when it came time to pay because the cashier was held up by phone orders. Prices seem a bit on the high side to me but those are probably reasonable for the DC metro area.
