Tasty!. We ordered take out. Texano burrito, Cheese Dip,and Enchiladas Campus inasmuch. All was very good. My only complaint was the size of the salsa. Like I said we ordered take out so I get its going to be a small portion but this was tiny… Like the size of Dip for nuggets lol.. Seriously it was that small. The salsa was amazing, fresh, crisp onions, cilantro yum! But not hardly enough. A very nice lady took my order. We will definitely be back. Next time we’ll dine in, the place is super cute!
Imitation crab meat. Really?. The wife and I had a long day and decided to try this place since it was close to home. The waiter was hustling around trying to offer good service but pretty much clueless. We should of known the meal was going to be disappointing when we found out they use imitation crab meat in their dishes. One can purchase real crab (whether whole/live or canned) at any food store around this area. We should have left then but decided to try two different renditions of a chicken enchilada dish they offered. Both dishes were tepid, bland and overpriced. The chicken tasted canned along with the sauce it was topped with. I took a bite of my dish and my wife tasted hers and we decided to leave it and get the check. We considered the $38.00 we spent at El Gran Maya an investment, adding it to our portfolio of restaurants never to visit again. If dinner was this bad, the buffet must really be awful.
