Friendly vibe, good food. Exactly what one should expect from a Jamaican restaurant. Friendly vibe, good service, good food. The lunch special is unbeatable. For $5.25, you get a main dish, rice n peas, and two sides. I went with the curry chicken. I found the curry earthy and flavorful–exactly what I would expect from a Jamaican curry dish. I had the plantains and they were prepared perfectly (if not, they can be rough to chew), these were perfect. The rice and peas was spot on. I have had better macaroni n cheese, but you go here for the curry, rice and peas, the plantains, in my opinion, so this was no big deal. I left feeling full, relaxed and looking forward for the day I will return.

Great Food. I live in Woodbridge , Va and I always make a stop at Mystic’s Restaurant on my way to the beach and on my way back home. The chefs are top notch and the food is always delicious. The seating n waiting area is always clean n welcoming. It’s a great place to experience Jamaican cuisine without taking a trip to Jamaica.

EAT HERE!. I have been eating at Mystic Jamaica for years but never wrote a review so here it is. This place is awesome. I have personally eaten the stewed beef, stewed chicken, curried goat, oxtails, and snapper in brown sauce, fried fish and fried shrimp and they have never disappointed. I am accustomed to Caribbean food that is full of flavor and this place has it. A true gem in the midst of bland copycat restaurants. They are always consistent. A meal is just as delicious today as it was four years ago. Even if you are not getting the lunch special (which is an amazing deal at under $5), it is still a great value for the price.

Tuesday through Friday Special. My coworkers and I at Eustis, literally eat her once a week. We can’t get enough of the Jerkey Wings, Beans and Rice, Mac and Cheese and Platains or cabbage. for $4.25 plus tax and including a drink you litterally cannot go wrong. The Jerkey Chicken is also wonderful and falls right off the bone.

One thing I learned while I was in the army. Always try the Jamaican place by the base and this place is no exception.

Curry chicken lunch special can’t be beat! Gets really busy at lunch, but what else would you expect when the food is this good.
