This place is the worst Mexican place in Tidewater, beware of the food they serve !! This is not a family oriented restaurant at all. Its an assembly line place, they get an attitude if you don’t order as soon as you walk in. Half the waiters are illegal immigrants from Mexico !! They slap the chips and sauce down and a minute later are standing there as if you are supposed to be ready to order. Fast, fast, fast… In and out ! To call it Mexican food is an insult, its looks like Mexican but tastes like American, if you can call it that. No spice, its a joke. I wouldn’t send my dog to eat there… Don’t waste your time and money !! ….. Pissed in Suffolk

This place is pretty good, personally I have always had better experiences at the one on Bridge Road. But the food is good and so is the service. Make sure to try the Amigos Dip! It is awesome!!
We love this place! Everyone is friendly. Food is always the same with great flavors. We come here at least once every other week and have never been disappointed.
La Parilla in Suffolk at Harborview is Awesome! There are actually 2 locations only a few miles apart from each other in North Suffolk. To be clear this review is for the location at theHarborview Grand location across from BWW’s. With that said let me tell you I love this place. I love both places, but that’s another review. The atmosphere is very cool. The furnishings are all high end and custom. The music is always authentic Mexican and the service is Muey Bien! We have a blast every time we visit. I am absolutely addicted to their Steak Nachos. They are so good. Hot fresh fried corn tortilla chips, smothers in jack cheese, with sauted peppers and onions and chilis, then topped with marinated and grilled to perfection steak that’s sliced thin, then they pour delicious gooey Queso Sauce on top. This plate is not for HEALTH NUTS, nor is it for the non cheese lovers. Its MEXICAN HEAVAN on a plate. Pair with and ice cold Dos Equis and you have your self a FIESTA! This is a great spot! I love it and you will too! I give them a 5 out of 5.
Standard Mexican food, but definitely better than many Mexican joints I have been to. Plaza Azteca is king in Hampton Roads for Mexican, and I was pleased to find another option in town. I loved the shrimp and steak fajitas! Nice decor inside, quick service, and great happy hour.
NOT REAL MEXICAN. I have eaten at this location several times in hopes I was wrong but the food is not good. The substitution and corner cutting is so obvious it amazes me it is still open. I ordered seafood enchiladas and had frozen shrimp with imitation crab meat ‘yuk’. Worst ever
