Margherita Pizza. Off menu and incredibly good with great crust
Awesome italian hero.. All the times I’ve been to this take-out only, little hole in the wall, I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve never been treated rudely as other reviewers unfortunately have, the staff have never been anything but pleasant. The italian hero on Billy Bread gets even better the longer it sits. The pizza is garlicky but not overpowering. It’s reminds me of a thin crust, the sausage and pepperoni are super flavorful. So don’t be obnoxious or loud, get off your phone, stop texting, and respect the staff as they work in perfect union from their cramped corners to churn out tons of food for the VCU masses.
Only Crust Is Good. No taste in the pizza, and topping over cooked. Too much pepper and garlic in what they call a sauce. Only the crust is good. To never go back.
Disapointed. When I saw the rave reviews, we decided to check it out. The staff is unfriendly, and the pizza (only one size) tastes like yesterday’s pizza today. It tasted like someone had dropped a tablespoon of garlic on top before overcooking it! To be fair, we only tried the pizza, but I wouldn’t go back.
Lasagnatoni – A_Hole Staff – ‘taint THAT good. I can’t say anything good about this place. not because the food is bad, but because the staff are consistent a-holes. They act like you’re bothering them ordering food. It’s good Italian but they need an attitude adjustment.
Scenestars left out the love.. The pizza COULD be the best in town…but it’s not. The staff seems bored and uninterested in dealing with customers at all. Typical Richmond underachievers doing the bare minimum just to eek out a weak paycheck…please take your hard-earned dollars elsewhere for good Italian food.
