High price, low quality. This place may be suitable for students with a meal plan, but for all else it’s a complete waste of money. Unfortunately for students at Snead Hall this is one of the few options in a half-mile radius outside of Popeye’s Pizza (which I strongly recommend), 7-Eleven, Chili’s, and the overpriced/overcrowded Bleecker St Deli inside Snead Hall. It also serves as a small convenient store, selling drinks and snacks for nearly double the market price. Anyone in search of a Snickers or Red Bull should venture to one of the two 7-Eleven’s a block away. For $13 I got a small, overcooked Angus burger, the amount of fries I’d expect in a McDonald’s Kids Meal, and two cupcakes that were surprisingly quite tasty. The drink would have been extra, however the girl at the counter was nice enough to give it to me on the house. If given the choice I’d highly recommend walking the extra distance and finding somewhere with much better quality than VCU has to offer.
