Sully’s Fredericksburg service. Service SUCKS! Although the servers are pleasant and courteous, it takes WAY too long for an establishment who ADVERTISES brunch to take so long to even get coffee and water! My family and I have been to brunch twice (once was when they first opened) and both times we witnessed patrons leaving their tables. (Today a table of 4 left their uneaten entrees and stormed out!) With that said, the menu is interesting and the food is surprisingly good. (That is the reason we gave Sully’s another chance for brunch and have been there for lunch a couple of times too.) I am really disappointed, though, that they haven’t worked the kinks out by now! (They have been in business several months.) The servers, though friendly, are weak and don’t seem to have been trained properly; the bartenders (during the day) seem inexperienced too; therefore, I would assume this is a management issue. Get it together, Sully’s! Fredericksburg deserves better than this.
Nice atmosphere. I went on a tuesday night with some friends and the girl bartender was awesome. she was very nice and outgoing. the music was good and the patio area outside was very relaxing and fun. i hope to visit again!
Great place. I came to this bar on my 21st birthday and it was our first stop of the night. The bartenders were very nice and the atmosphere was very laid back. Great music and patio area, great for warm nights. I went to other bars that night, but F.W. Sullivans’s was by far the best experience I had all night. Just great atmosphere and staff. I will defiantly be a returning customer.
Gluten Free Friendly!. I was invited to a Birthday Brunch this past Saturday at the new location in Fredericksburg, Va and I really wanted to go but I’ve just been diagnosed with Celiac Disease (for those of you who are not familiar with this disease, you can not eat anything that has gluten in it which is in just about everything you eat! No wheat, rye or barley). Anyway, I showed early to speak with the waitress so as not to disturb the group with my issue and she was absolutely wonderful! She let me know that everything was prepared fresh and that all I had to do was let her know what i wanted and she would talk to the chef and they could prepare it for me however they needed to! Better yet still, the food was awesome! Lots of it too! I will definitely go back and recommend to all my friends!
Great mussels. As a big fan of seafood, I was suprised to see mussels on a usual bar menu. You could choose between 2 different broths. I had it with white wine, fennel, bacon, and blue cheese. It was great. The service was good. The outside seating was good on a cool night too. I will definately be back.
Don’t go there and expect service. Went there three times in a row and could not get served at a booth. Staff completely ignored us and only served people they were friends with. Also, I was double charged on my credit card and have heard of others having the same problem.Too many other good casual restaurants with good service are available in the Fan. Don’t go here.
Interesting place!. Service was a little under par as I think the waitress was in multitask mode and our table of 8 wasn’t her priority…hmmmI will say… the martinis were the best and the appetizers our table tried (I believe 8 different types) we YUMMY!!!I will definitely go back!
