Oysters were very good. Had the trio, Rockefellers were the best I ever had. Service was very quick, even for a Friday night.Entrees were not so good. gator cakes were strange and unpleasant. My first time for gator, but not what I had expected. Fried catfish was with in beer batter and did not marry well. Hush puppies were undercooked. fried brussels were SO salty. Cabernet wine was bland.Suggest if you go, stick to the oysters and beer and you won’t be disappointed. Stay clear of at least the entrees I listed above.
Mediocre! The food was alright but definitely not authentic. The gumbo didn’t have roux and wasn’t very spicy. The service was good but we had an early dinner so the restaurant was only about half full (and it’s not very big). For the price paid I would probably go elsewhere for better food.
