Don’t get delivery!!. I ordered delivery orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken one with brown rice and the other regular rice with 3 egg rolls. The egg rolls were the best item. The brown rice had a terrible chemically taste to it and the consistency tasted like it was old reheated rice. The orange chicken and broccoli that came with was in a bathtub of sauce that was more than enough for 3 dinners. The orange chicken tasted mediocre lacking a lot of flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was extremely rubbery and barely even warm. I got the impression while eating that all the food was pulled off the buffet or some type of leftovers. This so called meal cost me 27 dollars plus delivery charge. It ruined my date night.

This place has gone downhill. I remember when this place first opened – around the same time I first went vegan – and I loved it. The mountain smoked tofu was awesome – packed with tons of fresh veggies and a delicious, light sauce – and the selections were ALL vegetarian. But I guess in the last ten years this place has really gone downhill. I went there with my fianc last month – he ordered the mock duck and I ordered my mountain smoked tofu – and both were bland, rubbery, and seriously lacking when it came to veggies. The miso soup was blah, and the drink selection left a lot to be desired. Also, I didn’t like how their versions of vegan or vegetarian dishes all seemed to include some sort of mock meat. Tofu is great, but fake meat? NOT what I like to order when I go out, or even when I cook at home. Veggies should be the star of these dishes, but sadly, they aren’t.
Not a veg and loved it. Went for the first time recently. I am a huge meat lover and didn’t miss it one bit during their dinner vegetarian buffet. People working there were super kind.
READ BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO ORDER HERE! PLEASE!!!. When I tell you that this is by far the WORST customer service I have ever encountered in my life, I’m being too kind. I called them today 11/27/2011 at 3pm and was told that my order would get to me in 25 minutes. After 50 minutes of waiting for my food I call them and am told that the food will get to me in less than 2 minutes. 5 minutes later I get a call, I get back home and what I ordered isn’t what I got. I call the restaurant back immediately to notify the lady that I got the wrong order. After being on the phone with her for 10 minute she tells me that her manager will be there at 5:30 and to call back then.I call back at 5:30 and she tell me her manager still isn’t there yet. After talking with her for about 2 minutes she hands the phone over to someone. I talk with the guy who acts as a translator. He tells me that she is actually the owner and she isn’t willing to refund me back my money. We argue for about 10 minutes and finally I tell him that I want to talk to her again, she refuses to talk to me and tells him to tell me that she doesn’t speak English.I swear, I will NEVER again go back to or order from this place as long as I live. If you actually read this whole rant I hope it was helpful to you. I am just in awe of how they treated me.
Take your time, i’m not really hungry. Woke up hungover on a Saturday morning. me and the missus wanted breakfast in bed. we tried to call at 11:10, they open at 11 so we figured we should be nice and give them a minute to settle in. no answer until 11:23. placed a nice big order ($48), apparently the first of the day. were told that it would be about 45 minutes. after an hour and fifteen minutes we called to see what was going on. were told it was on the way and would be there soon. arrived at 12:55. so our 45 minute wait time was actually more than double. total wait: 1 hour and 32 minutes.if you say you open at 11, come in a little earlier to make sure you are ready to business at that time.if you know its gonna take more than an hour, be honest.will never give them my business. this is not the first time i’ve said that though.
I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Please people there is another Chinese restaurant right across the street it is so much easier just to walk another 10 feet then it is to sit through 30mins of punishment. I ordered delivery form there and an hour after the eta the food was delivered it was 3 dollars more than the lady on the phone told me and there is no delivery charge so I am not sure why. I also made the mistake of giving the delivery man a 30% tip on a 15 dollar tab so for a bill of 13.27 he made a 5 dollar tip because they were dishonest with my recite. When I got inside every aspect of my order was incorrect they even gave me the wrong style rice. All of this was after I went through my order over the phone 3 TIMES! Dont sell food if you are going to do a terrible job at it. Then today I biked the 11 blocks from my apartment to the restaurant and when I tried to return the incorrect order I was yelled at by the owner of the establishment and he shoved the bag of food in my hand as a I was picking up my back pack to leave since he was yelling at me in front of his current customers. The owner operators of Panda Veg or Panda Garden are not nice people please don’t give them your business.
