Loved it. Want to state for the record that my cupcake was not the least bit dry. It tasted so delicious that I had to return the next day to have another. Also had a small coconut pie. My box lunch was precious. Macaroni and potato salads are homemade with house made mayo. Delicious. Cheddar crisp was cheesy in a good way. The ladies were so helpful and sweet. This is like stepping back in em the 1950s without any kitsch. Who doesn’t love this place. Go and go back!
SO GOOD. I’ve been coming here since I was little. It’s the best, traditional box lunch you can get. Everything from the sandwich, to the potato salad, to the little cheese wafer, to the deviled egg, to the cupcake is delicious! I could honestly eat here a few times each week. This and Mrs Marshals have the best potato salad I’ve ever tasted. Wow, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Take out only.

The earliest I remember having a Sally Bells box lunch was probably 45 years ago when my mom would get them for us when we would be going on a picnic or she was having people over for lunch. It was good then and they are still great today. Grab a couple of these and take a friend to Maymont for a picnic.
