Fantastic! Great burger cooked to temp. Really good. Hand made. I like the flavors of the onions, jalapeo, pork belly, and cheese. 8 out 10. Minuses points are from bun choice (little flimsy) and pork belly could have been cooked longer. You should try this burger!
The most awful sushi I have ever had. The Saba or mackerel was terribly unfresh. The tamago or sweet egg was hard and too thin. The rice was dry and not like sushi rice at all. Will not be going back. The prices are way too high for what they had to offer.
Good food. Bad service.. The food was tasty, but we were there FOREVER. They never brought us a menu, despite repeated attempts to flag down our waitress, so we went to the podium and got the menu ourselves. about 20 minutes later the waitress finally took our drink orders. Then 20 minutes after that she took our food orders. And then it was another 45 minutes or so before the food came out. Our waitress was friendly, but there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant, and it was packed. This is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning. There are other sushi restaurants with equivalent or better food, with MUCH better service.
The service was fast and friendly. The sushi was amazing and the crazy calamari is super tasty!!
Worth Trying Out. The food is decent. It is an impressive American take on sushi albeit gouging prices for the serving size. The interior I am not fond of; feels like a dirty hipster hole. But if you want a late night with sushi and college students try it out.
I’ve never had a bad experience here. I’m a vegetarian and enjoy the noodle bowl options they have, as well as the sushi, that cater to vegetarians. The Dirty Vegan and Garden Balls are my items of choice. I’ve gone multiple times with multiple people and have never heard any complaints about the sushi. No, it’s not traditional Japanese food, but it doesn’t claim to be. The staff is pleasant and the atmosphere is comfortable.
