These donuts are not for everyone. Personally, I don’t enjoy overly sweet things. These donut have ton of different toppings and flavor combinations. I just think it’s a little overkill. However, if you have a crazy sweet tooth then this will fill the bill. Try’em for yourself.
Best doughnuts I’ve ever had. Every time we go the doughnuts are fresh and there is such a variety that it’s impossible to be bored. Way better then Duck doughnuts. They are a thicker/more cakey doughnut.
Hands down best donuts in Richmond. Big, fluffy and tons of delicious flavors. Go for the salted caramel or Samoa, you will not be disappointed!!
I have never before in my life had a more fresh and delicious donut than the one I tried at Sugar Shack. it was my first time trying the place after hearing good reviews, and I’m definitely coming back! I almost wanted to go back the very next morning but I had to resist the urge. coffee and donuts here are dangerously good, and very interesting and unique flavors.

Poor customer service. The donuts were good, but not good enough to outweigh their lack of good customer service. Went in with a couple friends and was met by a server with an attitude problem. He acted like we were wasting his time while we were deciding on donuts. And then got mad and yelled at us because we didn’t follow the right ordering sequence. Was really close to just walking out on the spot. Most likely won’t be going back
I’ll pass. Never been to SS, but after reading today that they were opening a store on Hull, I decided to send my assistant to pick up some donuts today. Just read the negative review below about SS out of donuts today. What turned me off was the response from SS. As a result, I’ll spare myself the SS experience. Guess it’ll be Dixie Donuts today.
