Amazing. I first tried The Empress a couple of weeks ago, after wanting to go for some time. I was thoroughly impressed! I went with a group of friends that frequent this outstanding establishment. I was a little overwhelmed, in that I wanted to try everything. We got quite a few appetizers on the house, as they are friends with the owner, who is also pretty awesome. The bacon wrapped dates and home-made ricotta was out of this world. I wasn’t let down in the slightest when i was recommended to order the pork-cheeks. Words can’t begin to describe the level of taste and presentation. I’ve been having cravings for all that i tasted since my first visit. The cherry on top was their selection of drinks, from wines to locally brewed craft beers, options are a big draw in for The Empress. The prices may seem a little steep at first, but are more than justified. I’d HIGHLY recommend their cuisine to anyone who is looking for something a little different and sophisticated.
