Can’t say how their food is since we couldn’t even get seated. And not because they were busy-they just ignored us standing at the hostess stand. Truly bad form.

I like pig butts and I cannot lie. Came here two nights in a row for my dads birthday, and loved every minute of it. Started off with some beers from their great beer selection, and had an order of rocket tots, some fried oysters, and some baked oysters, all of which were awesome. We ordered a lot of different items such as the Osso Buco, the pork belly tacos, and their Mac and cheese with meat or veggies. 6 people getting 6 different things usually means at least someone was disappointed, but we all loved what we got. The two servers we had were fantastic. Both were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. I have several allergies, and they were very accommodating and wanted to help me instead of my normal treatment which makes me feel like a burden. The only downsides were that parking was a bit of an unknown, and the food took a while but I was too busy enjoying the company and as far as im concerned, you cant rush perfection. I will be back MANY times. I loved this place.

So great!. This was a fantastic place to eat. we sat on the patio (a little smelly by the sewer and beepy from the crosswalk lights) but the food was delicious. The staff was knowledgeable about the extensive alcohol list and recommended fantastic dishes. would definitely recommend to people looking for a cool atmosphere and great grub.

Not good neighbors. This place has become a magnet for young, ill-mannered drunks that like to hang out in the street after the place has closed, making all kinds of racket – every night of the week. June 21st, the police were summoned at 4:42 am, that’s right 4:42 am, because of the drunks in the street that refuse to leave. Now, as far as the hospitality and food etc. are concerned: With no less than 3 other patrons in the bar, it took 12 minutes for the tender to serve us, two of us, a beer. He was too busy hanging out on the tobacco side to pay attention to the non-tobacco side. Food: nothing you cannot do yourself for way less. Now, they have the distinction of the ugliest mural in town painted on the side of their building. The place is gross, loud, noisy.

Great Brunch. We had the fried oysters to start and then biscuits and gravy and the omelet. Everything was delicious, and the service was great. We will definitely be going back.

Had a great experience! Food is better as is the service from when it was The Republic. Waiter couldn’t have been better!!

I didn’t think it could get any worse than the Republic, I was wrong. I can sum it up with two words, cold bacon
