We were at the Sheraton for a convention. Aside from the hotel restaurant, this restaurant is the closest to the hotel so it’s the first one we tried for dinner. The restaurant format is basically Middle Eastern in a fast casual format. So you order at the counter and bring a number to the table. Then when the food is ready 5-10 minutes later, they bring it to the table. I actually didn’t think the food itself was all that flavorful, at least compared to Middle Eastern food I’ve had before, but the fast casual format is convenient and the ambiance is hip and modern. Prices seemed a bit high for what I got. However, service was pretty efficient and friendly. I’d actually rate it 3.5 stars if I could, but I’m rounding up.This restaurant has some outdoor seating: a few steel tables and chairs and a set of cushioned chairs. However, given that this is in the DC area, except in the shoulder months, it’s either hot and humid or cold. So my preference would be to dine indoors.
