My wife and I love PAUL, but this location has a lot of room for improvement. We eat at this location often because it is close to our home. However, the service is lacking. Mistakes with orders are frequent largely due to the fact that they rarely pay attention to you when taking the order. They are talking to other cashiers and the kitchen constantly and have to ask you to repeat what you said. My most recent To Go order was unimpressive; cold sandwich, cold crepe with hardly any Nutella/no powdered sugar. I have come to expect more from a place that claims to be the home of quality. I will continue to eat at PAUL because the pastries are excellent, but would like to see them step their game up a bit. If not, I guess i will drive over to the one in Georgetown where I have never encountered any problems.
Consistent French bakery chain. Another excellent Paul bakery addition, they really succeed at providing consistent quality worldwide. I love Paul, I go there even when in France. It is always synonymous with quality, authenticity and value. The baguette subs are crunchy and very filling, and you can find delicious Flan (baked custard), myrtille (a type of Bilberry) tart and Canele (Bordeaux custardy type cake). YUM!
