Amazing!. Tried this for the first time in St. Thomas, and were thrilled to find out there was on here! The coffee was just as delicious, and the scrambled egg wraps were gobbled up they were just that good. Would be nice if they offered gluten free options.
To other reviewers: REALLY?!?. So after searching for a real coffee/espresso bar in va beach, the favorable reviews led me here. I’m a serious coffeegeek and look for a couple of things in a great coffeeshop including atmosphere, a great selection of coffees available and really really great espresso. The atmosphere was fine but really, how many more cliched hawaiian themed coffee places do we really need? I usually drink coffee black so I asked for the kona which they told me would be a medium roast. It was kind of terrible and had a super-plasticky taste. I ended up having to put honey and milk in it and it was still pretty bad. On a positive note they do have a great array of condiments to stir into your coffee. I also ordered a double espresso, and this is where things really went south. Their espresso machine was extremely cluttered and dirty. The espresso I got was the worst espresso I’d ever had in my life. No joke. It was super bitter and and I’m not going to even talk about extraction because what I got was not espresso. Crema was nowhere to be found. Terrible.Their milk steaming wand was also COMPLETELY covered with old yellowing milk crust. For all of you who get lattes… surprise, you’re all getting week-probably-month-old putrid milk crust in your latte/cappucino.
Been there a few times and really enjoyed it. The lox bagel was amazing and the local relax atmosphere was exactl what I was looking for. My new coffee spot.

The BEST coffee around!. Bad Ass coffee is my favorite coffee shop! They have the best coffee, MUCH better than Starbucks, and they have delicious food too! Baked goods, breakfast, wraps, sandwiches…. Their menu is great because there is something for everyone–reallly tasty healthy options or yummy treats if you want to indulge! I love that for their coffee drinks, they have a huge selection of sugar-free syrups (unlike other coffee shops). If you haven’t tried Bad Ass, you must!!
Iced coffee cubes made with coffee,. This place has great vibe, relaxed atmosphere near oceanfront. I love the iced kona blend. My favorite touch is they make ice cubes from their coffee! That’s bad ass.
