I first heard about this place from a review by Joe D. His picture of the Patty Melt had my mouth watering so I put Bay Local on the wish list. Well I finally had a chance to try them. I stopped in for lunch and I was very happy I did. I ordered the Patty Melt also. This thing was amazing melted cheese delicious onions and the bread holding this thing together was soft and tasty. The hand cut fries were a great addition. We had awesome service and great food. I’ll be back for sure. Thanks for the recommend Joe D. And THANKS Bay Local for delivering a great lunch!
Tried my favorite breakfast here for the first time. all my buddies and there wives kept telling me to give it a spin so i did.i sat at the bar and the young lady there took great care of me.perfect coffee like i like it – english muffins – it was a good breakfast.the inside with all the fishing pictures – and the sweat shirts even had one of the fishing boats i owned once on the back – nice……heading back soon.
Great food, great atmosphere, great servers. One down side, the hostesses were pretty rude. Overall I’d definitely reccomend it.
Yet another trendy place…. …..for the tragically hip to be seen at. As always with a new restaurant, the sheep-like people come here in droves, illegally park and cause congestion in our neighborhood. The food here IS really good but really, do so many have to flock here from inland! Hey Sheeple!!! Didn’t you hear? There’s a new Citrus restaurant on Great Neck in Virginia Beach.
Another Great Brunch Spot on Shore Drive. Great place for Sunday Brunch. Wait staff was attentive and cordial. The place was rather noisy but not rowdy. The interior very eclectic with pictures and posters of Virginia Beach, Jamaica and other beach locales all over the restaurant. Our waiter recommended the bloody mary- order the bloody mary with their homemade seasoning, you won’t be disappointed. The menu has several variations of eggs benedict. My wife ordered the eggs benedict with which was awesome. The shrimps and grits was to die for- grits were cooked perfectly with a combination of melted cheese, sausage, shrimp and peppers. I ordered the rum french toast. The french toast were baguettes. Unfortunately, the french toast was dry, it needed more soaking of the rum mixture. All orders were huge- we all took food home. Parking is a premium. Instead of driving around the block, park in their designated parking lot across Shore Drive on the bay side. It’s not worth getting the car towed or pissing off the neighborhood. In more ways, this is better than going to Citrus.
Heaven on Earth…really. First you walk into a somewhat shabby-chic beach style restaurant that seems as if it’s been there forever. We have had quite a few Wonderful things to eat that have been just great.Try there Bang Balls,French Toast, they have daily specials that are very creative and good.Da Club is from another planet as well as there Benni’s…It’s worth the wait…
