We tried the pepperoni pizza which was pretty good, but had not been sliced enough. We had to try and cut it with our silverware knifes. We also tried the mozzarella sticks which were good also. If its close to your hotel I would give it a try.
BELLA PIZZA ON 11TH AND ATLANTIC AVE, VIRGINIA BEACH VA. We go to the American Music Festival every year for the past 20 years….Our favorite spot I look forward to is Bella Pizza. Went to the one on 11th St and Atlantic Ave. DON’T GO!!! Walked in at around 3:30 pm. I ordered a sausage, mushroom and onion pizza. I was standing there waiting for the pizza and he kept turning around looking at me while making it…..Then I realized he was ADDING toppings to a full pizza that had already been cooked. I questioned him and said you are making me an OLD PIZZA? Some man that was sitting at the far end (must be the owner) said oh I just made that pizza less than 30 min ago. If I ordered a FRESH PIZZA I expect it to be a New Fresh Pizza NOT one that was 30 min old that someone didn’t buy. Very upset and he never stopped making it. Needless to say the pizza crust was hard as a rock. Will NEVER go to this restaurant again and do NOT recommend it. Very disappointed in their service.
Bella pizza. Wow, on vacation down here… I was expecting greasy terrible pizza. completely shocked! The food is fantastic! make sure you go to the one between 14th and 15th not the wanna be on 11th.
No.. I used to come to Bella Pizza often because the food was delicious and it had a nice atmosphere. I really don’t know what happened to the place, but it completely changed. Two of my friends came up for the 4th of July weekend and when they asked me what the best local place on the beach strip was, I suggested Bella Pizza. I hadn’t eaten there in awhile, myself, and thought it would be nice.We get there, and even though it was the 4th weekend and vacationers had taken over, the place really wasn’t that crowded- there were still plenty of open booths. But though we stood there for a good ten minutes, no one came to seat us and we finally just asked one of the waitresses if we could seat ourselves, to which she just waved us along.Sat at the booth for another fifteen or so minutes without a single person coming over to help us. We finally just got up and left. I understand that vacationers are a little rude most of the time, but that doesn’t give restaurant staffers the right to act the same way and I will definitely not be recommending the place to any of my other out-of-town friends. Or anyone else for that matter.
Great pizza. As a New Jersian I am used to good New York style pizza. I was pleasantly surprised how good the pizza was.
Surprisingly good pizza for a beach restaurant. Not too greasy or expensive.
