Mediocre at best. 2 people…..3 wines, 2 beers, 1 gran marnier…….restaurant week……$160.I did not enjoy my selection (octopus), and I did not eat it and did not complain. Someone else at our 10 top sent her octopus dish back twice. Would have been nice for someone in management to inquire about the 2 meals. And then the obligatory 20% tip built into the bill.
Yum…Great Staff!!!. Yum! Staff very friendly. We were in the middle of our meal and the waitress warned of parking meters are watched close by police. She ran out and placed money in the meter for us. She was very perky and helpful, I had broke my leg that same day and was enjoying a ‘get well’ dinner from my wife. They have a great selection of craft beer and my burger was delicious. They make their bread fresh and mix their own burger meat.
Best Restaurant in VB!. I’ve been to EAT multiple times and have always been wowed, the food, service and atmosphere are always amazing. The chalkboard specials change frequently and always offer something delicious to try.
Great food, however, service was terrible. First, we had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation time for a table. Waiter didn’t take everyone’s order for drinks and forgot to come back. Received the wrong salad. Waiter could split up bill correctly… Even after writing it down line by line. One of us was charged twice. Overall… The food was not worth the 3 hour debacle.
Very disappointing experience.. My first experience at Eat tonight was very disappointing. The hostess advised us that we would have to wait while she cleaned a table although 3/4 of the tables were empty. After 10 minutes we were seated and waited an extraordinary amount of time before a server of any sort came to our table. I ordered the Halibut special with clams and mussels over pasta. The clams were extremely sandy and unfortunately the sand permeated my entire dish. The halibut was o.k. but just o.k. The service staff was snobby and inattentive. The food is ridiculously expensive, my entree being $32.00. Nothing great about this place!!
Best Ever. I had the best shrimp and grits ever, north of the Low Country in South Carolina!
Off season is more fun. The food is great. We had an oyster special app that was awesome! even though it was 25 bucks for a dozen. Wine selection is good. Seafood is the name of the game and they do it right. Service is as you would expect however during the season at the beach it gets a little annoying.
