Tempt yourself with the salt spray of the ocean all day, basking in the Atlantic rays, the teasing smell of fish and crab lingering in your hair, before walking over to Harpoon Larrys. Trade in your suit for some jorts, or just throw a skimpy tank top over your now-dry suit, and flip flop over for a beer and salt-covered menu. Anything you want from the ocean waves can be fried and dipped in a spicy mayonnaise here at HLs. Friendly and fun staff are gentle guardians to the seas bounty, bringing you platter after platter of that delicious hangover/pre-game food that marks the dining hour in VA Beach. Deafening aircraft provide a time dedicated to the licking of ones fingers and the ordering of another Corona here in the atrium of the sea.
Love this place for its uniqueness and beach fun – specials are great HOWEVER….if anyone related to the restaurant reads this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE and one more time PLEASE serve REAL BUTTER with your steamed seafood. I will pay the extra buck, just NO MORE MARGARINE. I promise I’m not the only one who thinks this is a deal breaker.
