Atmosphere was trying to be something more than the beach attired patrons allowed. Food was decent. But what what killed it was a charge for a carry out order. Really? Charging for carry out? I don’t care how small the fee, it’s the point. Am I being charged for the cost of the container? Never will return.
Good Food for a Good Price. Went to Hot Tuna because my husband is a big seafood fan. He had the Chesapeake Crab Cakes and had nothing but great things to say about them. I had the Bourbon Ribeye and for a seafood restaurant they really know how to cook a good steak. The steak came out perfectly cooked and tasted excellent. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff was extremely friendly. We would recommend Hot Tuna to anyone!

Good was decent portions were a little skimpy for the price. Def not the best seafood around. Poor service, food tasted good tho.
This place was a treat. The mixed seafood grill featured, fresh tuna, Mahi, and NC grilled shrimp. My guest has the Absolute Seafood pasta which included, scallops, shrimp, and tuna. Service was friendly and efficient. Loved three homemade Sangria.
Seafood Restaurant – Hot Tuna. This place was a big surprise. The ranger at the state park recommended the Hot Tuna for seafood. The shrimp scampi early bird dinner special was a good value. There are several beers on tap as well has a nice red homemade sangria. The service was friendly and the seafood was fresh. Thanks Mr. Ranger for the tip.
If you like dining for dinner at a place that’s a dirty night club at night. This place might be for you… But I was not impressed at all. Scallops tasted like rubber and the fish was dry as the Mohave desert. Do yourself a favor AVOID THIS DIRTY PLACE AT ALL COSTS
