Ike’s has great happy hours!. Ike’s is a great hole in the wall, an excellent dive bar. It’s unfortunate this classification denotes a negative connotation, but it’s the best way to describe it. I have not tried the food, but you can see the kitchen while sitting at the bar. The drink specials are great. Bring your pool cue, they have two nice tables. And last but not least, let’s talk about the non-smoking section of this establishment. As most folks know Virginia passed the law that smoking is prohibited in restaurants unless the building accommodates by sectioning off a portion of the building. At Ike’s the non-smoking section consists of one chair and one table inside a tiny little room just inside the front entrance….so you can smoke at the bar as the good lord intended.
