Disappointed. I ordered the Neptunes feast, my scrambled eggs were over cook, watery grits, and greasy bacon. .. the coffee was very bitter.the homefries were good if there was a choice for onions.all for $14.00 and I couldn’t eat half my plate, because of how it was cooked.
The staff is very friendly and efficient. the food is of great quality and at a price to rival that of any restaurant around. i will definitely return. if you go you will not leave hungry.
Virginia Beach Best Breakfast. Best home cooked meal I have ever had in Va Beach. Cheapest too! I had the braised short ribs last week for lunch. They were so good I ordered some to go for later! If you’re in Va Beach you’ve gotta get your Mary’s on for breakfast or lunch.
A sad and still hungry customer. I am never one to complain, but this is something that cannot be ignored. I am completely outraged and disappointed with the quality of the service and food I received today. For weeks now I have drove by on my way to work and have gone back and forth through their menu, looking forward to try this locally owned restaurant. The dish I tried was the chicken and dumplings and it was the worse meal I have had prepared for me in a long time. The dumplings were soggy, the chicken was a big wing lump just flung onto the meal, and even the roll was stale. It hurts that even when I called to explain my disgruntlement; the MANAGER had no empathy to the experience and expressed no willingness to resolve this issue. Simply saying, I hope you come back to try another meal. I love supporting local business; however this has prevented me from ever returning.

Marys has always served good food with fast service. they have one of the cheapist breakfast early birds around, and always great lunch specials. if you expect a fancy resturant this isn’t it. but it’s clean. don’t know where the one reveiwer was talking about marys closes at 3pm think he confused it with ricks cafe when he was talking about after the bars close
