The main dish we had (Shrimp and Crabmeat Scampi) was the best. Our waiter, Dan K., was a little slow and explained the caprese salad had to be made with cherry tomatoes vs. Sliced tomatoes. When we requested the check he delivered the incorrect one. He gave us the one for the party behind us.
Great Fish. Dinner for 2-sometime during the week of April 10th~Great Rockfish and the Flounder is fresh, flaky and totally exquisite !
Mediocre food, not at all accommodating to vegetarians. We had terrible service the last time I wad there… He took away my friends drink before she was even finished, took forever to fill up waters and wasn’t friendly at all. Not worth the $$$.
First New Years’ Out In Four Years Ruined. Do not go to One Fish Two Fish for a nice dinner out, especially New Years’ Eve. My husband planned a nice New Years’ Eve dinner out for us, got reservations there, set up a sitter and bought me a dress to wear. Upon arrival, we were told they were running a little behind schedule. We had no idea we would be waiting to be seated for over an hour. When sat at our table, I noticed there was a stage and big speaker set up directly behind my seat. Because we waited so long for our table, we decided not to ask for a different table because we feared we would be waiting another hour for one. So instead, we sat down, thinking we would be long gone before the band started playing. Much to our surprise, in the middle of our main course, the band started to play, and not dinner-appropriate loud, but ear-ringing loud. Not only could we not hold a conversation after that, but I also didn’t think the food was worth the wait and our night was ruined. Upon leaving, my husband spoke to the manager and he apologized and told us he would take care of us if we came back. He also mentioned that we were not the only ones that complained about the noise level of the band. So, in good faith, we made a reservation for this Saturday night to go back and give them another chance. In speaking with the manager tonight, we were told that they would not be taking care of us to make up for our ruined night out on the town. So now I am writing this to warn potential diners about our crappy experience and the lack of good faith that they would make it right. We should have gone to Salacia and you should, too.
Delicious fried oysters. Kitchen open directly to dining areas. Two big screen tv over bar. High ceilings. Not noisy. Cool location. My fav in VB.
RUDE!!!!! Food….not good!!!. The waiter was rude….. Then, there was a $60.00 mistake on my bill! When I brought the error to my waiter’s attention, I was treated like I was the idiot. Well the fact is, that the waiter was too proud to admit the mistake. Also the food was aweful and over priced. I wouldn’t return to this place even if it was free of charge….. which it should have been!!!!!!
