Love it. Coming here is like eating with relatives. Good food and it feels inviting just like my first visit over 35 years ago. Thank you Ricky and Bobby.
Nice locals place on the Atlantic and easy to get to. The food is mediocre unfortunately. My hot tuna sandwich came out cold. (And what restaurant at the beach uses pre packaged cocktail sauce?) the staff was lovely and the atmosphere was great, just maybe better for drinks than dinner.
The appetizers were good but the smoke from the bar made the air smell stale. The server was friendly so that made up for the slow service.
Great locals spot. Wonderful service and food was delicious!
First time visit this past weekend while at the beach. Place has always been packed on previous trips so we thought we’d try it. Place was sort of empty because of bad weather Service was quick, hamburgers were cooked to order and tasty, and waitress was attentive Ordered side of onion rings. Thumbs up! Will go back the next time we’re at the beach.
Our second stop on the ‘Ocean Front Bar Crawl’.. I’ve always had a soft spot for The Raven and have been coming here off and on for close to 20 years. They make a mean burger here.Another thing I like about The Raven is the interior. Once you pass through their covered outdoor section you enter a dining room that runs the length of their long bar. The interior is made of wood with a very dark stain. It’s almost like being in an old lodge. At the end of the dining area there’s even an old carved Indian statue. (Pic enclosed).We picked up two more members to our group here and took over the very back table. All of us were starting to get hungry and we poured over the menus, but then someone mentioned taco’s, so we held out, had our drinks and moved on to the next place. Honorable mention for our service as our waitress was excellent.
Really disappointing beer selection. Definitely a dive if that’s what you’re looking for, but really warm & inviting. Our server was good. Overall I wasn’t impressed. Friends were pleased, me not so much. Just not for everyone!
