The best thing about this place is the people. They are very kind and personable. It may be that they are subconsciously making up for their sub-par fare, but the people and location are the only redeeming qualities of this restaurant.
Simply disgusting! We went w…. Simply disgusting! We didn’t like/finish meal! Total waste of $$. Ordered calamari- tasted like grease. Shrimp was fried in old oil. Sauted veggies must have been cooked in same pan as fish. Didn’t even want to take home leftovers. Trying to make it home quickly before tummy gets worse! Only saving grace was view and our server. Very disappointing… Save your money… Not worth the expense or the stomach ache. Don’t waste your money on the Groupons they have either. Free would be overpriced!
Great food great view. Restaurant week-we took out of town guests-the view is incredible, but the food is first rate> good choices-prepared to perfection and excellent service. Recommend it— and keep tuned– -they mentioned they are doing some new things in entertainment!! looking forward to that.
Had a large group attending, retaurant knew in advance that this would be a large party. Menu was preselected between 3 entrees, food was poorly cooked, chicken was raw, seafood selection was not seasoned well. I would not recommend Tradewinds.
Well, I liked it. Sunday brunch, with a group of friends celebrating our HS reunion. They happily accomodated us with a special table. The buffet was awesome and a good value for $27. Omelette station, sushi station, roast beef carving station, steamed shrimp, oysters on the half shell, smoked salmon, and the usual breakfast fare. The she-crab soup was good. The doughnut machine was a big hit. Our server, Ryan was on the ball and kept the table cleared and the coffee flowing. We will be back!
Great view was the only thing going for this place. The service and food was horrible and not worth the 2 hours they made us wait during our time there waiting on food and service. Don’t count on this place unless you want something to ruin your day.
