Seriously the best crab cake I have ever had. My family makes it a point to eat at Waterman’s whenever we go to Va Beach! We have never had a bad meal! Even if it is a long wait it is well worth it. Great atmosphere, helpful staff!
Service was prompt & attentive. Loved the patio area overlooking the beach. My food was delicious. Only reason they get 4 stars is because my drink was delivered with a bug swirling around the bottom, but he promptly returned with another one & apologized. I got the watermelon crush and I wasnt wowed, should have tried a local beer instead.
Great location, great service (Nick), great food. Fish tacos and Just Seafood great, Tuna Sandwich delicious as well. Various Crush drinks (left me buzzed). Amazing peanut butter pie. This place was great– do lunch!
Sat by hostess, then forgotten. No server approached. Went back to see hostess to see if someone could serve us. Saw pics of food here. Ordered appetizer of crab dip. Tasted nice. Lobster dinner was supposed to have sauted vegetables. Received boring steamed beans instead. Salad dressing was thin and served sparingly. Not a bad meal overall-just expected more after hearing about this place. Ordered dessert. Very sad…had to take another point away. Warm brownie wasn’t. Ice cream had crystallized as if it had warmed and re-frozen. Couldn’t eat it. At least the manager apologized and had the chef throw away the ice cream and comped the dessert.
For the price i thought the food wasnt as good as i would have thought. Also the portions are very small and no where near what you think your paying for. Best thing i had is the loaded fries, if your willing to scrifice quality of food over a nicer eating enviroment then this place is ideal.
Long wait but it was worth it. They have valet parking which we didn’t use. I had the crab cake sandwich which was good. Buffalo tuna bites were different but not great. Not crispy enough? The sauce hid the tuna flavor. Good atmosphere.
Very good food. Was craving some good fried seafood and ended up getting the broiled parmesian flounder. Appetizer was fresh mozzarella. Huge hand made portion! Finished up with peanut butter pie. Maybe the best I have ever had. Service was great. It was about 30 degrees pending a snow storm and place was still active and filling up. Valet parking was free. Pricey but worth it. I wouldn’t take the entire family on a regular basis but an excellent date night or business meeting place. Upscale but beachy pub feel. I liked it a lot.
