Food was cheap in price. Worth every penny. The BLT was fresh bacon lettuce and tomato. The fries were hot and service friendly. The ranch chicken wrap could’ve been better. But it was hot which is always a plus.
Go for the shakes. The shakes are really the only thing worth going to Cook Out for. They have a bunch of different flavors and they’re so thick you’ll often need a spoon to eat them. The food is average at best and sometimes borders on terrible. The burgers get soggy very quickly and there’s something just not right about the taste of the patties. The food is pretty cheap, but I can get a better burger at Wendy’s for less cost. I can’t believe people used to back up traffic on Jefferson waiting to turn into the parking lot. The food simply is not worth that kind of hassle. Go try their shakes sometime, but if the wait is longer than five minutes, don’t bother.
