A bowl with and a cheasy western are hard to beat after a night on the town.
Bad Food. Good Times.. This is a great little hole in the wall. I think the food is very overrated. I think it’s awful and it has made me sick a few times…BUT, the atmosphere on the right night is great. The men that work there have definitely got the personality to match this little place. It’s a good trip. I go for the entertainment
Roanoke Classic. Love the TT. The chili is my favorite.
Great food, great price!. The Texas Tavern, aka Roanoke Millionaire’s Club, consistently serves great food! My favorite menu item is the Cheesy Western- a cheeseburger topped with a fried egg. My kids love to eat here too. They love the hot dogs and egg sandwiches. The service is always fast.
A favorite. I take every out of town guest here and it is a favorite. The dogs are great and the service is from another time. I LOVE IT. Restaurants are getting so homogenous and this place is not. There is a reason you will almost always wait for one of their 10 seats. It’s special, cheap and tasty.
Late night miracle!! In this little town where everything closes by 10, there is an answer! Greasy goodness is all I can say, original menu and a landmark of the city. Open 24/7 you can always get chili, hotdogs, hamburgers, milk, anything crucial in the time of need. Drink a beer, you will not be able to hate on this place!
Tiny greasy spoon. A couple of coney dogs on a drizzly day brightened up our impression of Roanoke. This place is a dive, complete with a couple of guys who looked homeless (who were making the most of the cheap eats, and the 10 stools) — so be forewarned — but the dogs and chili were good, and the place has an old-timey feel.
