Don’t go. THe food was no good dry and so spice it does not represent Louisiana At all only thing there was good was the chicken strips. And the look was just beads few paintings and a alligator Not impressed At all. My husband is from Louisiana and he said that is no Louisiana food. And the honey mustard for the chicken strips was watery. Will never go again a waste of money.
Went there for lunch with my sisters. I had the Greenbrier and my sister had the salad with goat cheese croquettes. We split each one so we could try both. Both were incredible. On top of that the service was also incredible. I’ll definitely be back for more!
I’m puzzled by the bad reviews. Chicken and Andouille Sausage Pasta was the best food I’ve had since moving to Roanoke.
Simply Horrible. Awful service, awful food, we informed the owner and he laughed at us. Plenty of other places to go- no thanks
Good Service, Awful food. I have been there several times, with almost zero luck at eating anything worth going back for lately. The red beans and rice is definitely from a box and usually overcooked. When they first opened the Cajun Nachos were made with fresh romaine, had a delicious cheese sauce and the andouille sausage was perfect! I just went back last week to have them but the crawfish was tough, the andouille sausage tasted like a spiced hot dog, and the lobster cheese sauce had disappeared. The cocktails aren’t even worth the money.
What a nice place. I love The Quarter. Been there twice. Once I went for dinner, and though I can’t remember what I had, it was really good. The second time I went back during lunch and just had a slab of pecan pie with ice and whip cream. It hit the spot. The outdoor dining on a patio behind a wrought iron fence is a nice addition. Friends of mine also seem to really like it. The staff is very pleasant and they have some televisions for those who like to watch while they eat. Possibly the decor could be a little nicer, but that is not even much of a complaint. I’m going again.
Very Disappointed AGAIN. I had been to this restaurant about 20+ times in the first 3 months they were open and the food and service were great. The last several times I went there it was HORRIBLE. Last night I decided I would give it one more try. Upon arrival we were seated upstairs at a table the size of a postage stamp with 2 round, backless, uncomfortable stools. Not to mention it was under a huge flat screen TV. Maybe its just me, but this is not somewhere I want to sit when I go out for a nice dinner. I started out with a cajun bloody mary which was really good. I ordered the special which was shrimp stuffed with crab meat. The shrimp was chewy and over cooked and the crab meat stuffing was mostly stuffing and very little crab. My friend ordered the cajun nachos. They were COLD, DRIPPING WITH GREASE, AND TOTALLY DEVOID OF ANY FLAVOR.Well, the worst part of this whole experience happened about 10 minutes after our arrival. The whole place transformed into a loud obnoxious sports bar. There were about 8 people hovering over me while I was trying to eat. At this point, the staff thought it would be a good idea to jack up the volume on all the televisions. To top it all off, I posted a very nice version of this review on their facebook page. They DELETED it without so much as an apology. On the way back to my car, I walked past several restaurants and I was wishing I had chosen one of them instead. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT.I WILL ALSO NEVER EAT AT ANNIE MOORE’S PUB, OR BRAMBLETON BBQ, AS THEY ARE OWNED BY THE SAME PERSON.
