Went here with three other people and all of us loved our food. The service was great also! I ordered the French onion soup which was delicious. Also a vegetable pasta dish which was superb. I hope I get the chance to go back!
Food was great, the service was TERRIBLE. I had to literally stop the waiter from walking away from our table for the 4th time so we could order an appetizer. I got up to use the ladies and to see what he was doing… Nothing. Standing at the back pos station gabbing with his coworkers. I even saw him go outside and do… Nothing. The manager (I think) brought our drinks, and some of our food. I went to the ladies again (because we were there THAT long) and I heard him make a very frustrated sound. I almost volunteered to help. Thankfully the food was really good. But I won’t go back here. For as high as the prices are the service should be top notch.
Lunch entrees were excellent. Had the Creme brle. The custard was excellent; however the burnt sugar on top was too thick, was hard to break thru, and thus impossible to eat the burnt sugar
Went here with a party if 25 .everything went smooth no hassles and the food was absolutely amazing highly recommend the Mac and cheese and rotisserie chicken.would definitely return here for future visit
Fooled me twice. Not gonna fool me again! This is another place that rests on its location rather than its food or service, both of which were mediocre. Also highly priced. The quality couldn’t justify even 25% of what we paid. There are better restaurants in the area, skip this one.
Disappointing. We wanted to enjoy a late lunch over a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. Turned out, that wasn’t on their agenda. The initial table they offered us was right next to another occupied table. With only a fraction of the tables occupied, do you really need to place people next to each other with only a couple of inches apart? I understand this happens when it’s busy, and this is specifically the reason we choose either early or late restaurant visits, so we don’t end up sitting like ducks in a row. After asking for a different table, the hostess was obviously annoyed with our request,. Although they complied in the end, we certainly were made to feel like we stepped out of line. The waiter then took our order and couldn’t resist a couple of snooty comments. We ordered a starter to share and two entrees. We were asked if we wanted all our starters and entrees together. Really???? At a restaurant like this? On a Sunday afternoon? No, we don’t. Oh, ok. I guess we made another request that solicited a huff and puff response. Sorry to be such a nuisance! The food was good but not exceptionally well executed. The pot roast was served on brioche which was soaked in gravy. Brioche is pretty light, so by the time we received it, it was of a soggy, slimey consistency that didn’t entice us to eat it. The Nicoise was ok, but would have been much better if the potato and boiled egg would not have been refrigerated, but served at least room temperature if not slightly warm. We hurried to finish our wine to make sure we wouldn’t continue to get in the staff’s way and left…. certainly not the kind of long, lazy lunch we had in mind…. instead we went accross the street for our coffee and dessert. It’s a shame, because ot’s the kind of place were it would be easy to linger for another glass of wine, but obviously they just prefer a quick table turnover. I would understand that during busy times, but when it’s not busy, I expect a different experience. My advice: let the customer lead the pace and pay attention to the cues, we would have spent a lot more money at your restaurant, if we would have been made more comfortable! Needless to say, we won’t be back unless we’re in a hurry!
Shrimp Medallions delicious, scallops AMAZING, excellent service. Couldn’t ask for more!
