Worst $46 I ever spent. We were headed to Colonial Pancake House and stopped here instead because there were so many cars in the parking lot. Surely, it must be good, right? Wrong.I ordered three chocolate milks and a coke. I got two white milks and two different sized chocolate milks.Fast forward to the meal. I ordered a western omelette combo (comes with pancakes). I received an egg-only omelette and pancakes. I would have told our server this but she never returned except to bring our check. I couldn’t even chalk it up to them being busy, as there were only a few tables inside and plenty of waitstaff. My husband thought the pancakes were good. I thought the food was bland and nothing to write home about. The service was terrible for us but the other two servers in the restaurant seemed to be much more attentive.
We lave lived near this place for two years and just now got around to trying them out for breakfast. Wow. They are great. We will be back for sure!!
Great Breakfast !. My family has been travelling to Williamsburg for over 18 years and usually go 8 times a year. We traditionally eat our breakfast at the Capitol Pancake House. The location is less than a mile from Colonial Williamsburg and always maintained nicely. The staff is friendly and responsive and the owner typically visits the tables to make sure everyone is happy with their meal and service. As a good family business owner, he is working as hard or harder than anyone else. The food is consistently very good and they will cook special orders. I love the french toast, my wife gets various types of garden omelets (with fresh seasonal vegetables), and my children love the pancakes. We have tried other local and franchise breakfast houses in the area and we now only go to Capitol Pancake House. Good service, food, location, management, and a fair price. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Great place. Have eaten here the past three times we’ve been to Williamsburg and all three times the service and food has been great.
